Progress made...

Just pieces cut out ready to sew.

Three flowers made.  Again, not paper-pieced.
I prefer traditional hand piecing.
The little black and white scissors were a bonus
found in the box of goodies.
I love having lots of scissors for all my many projects.

How it looks on the back-side.

My husband is recovering from his knee surgery.
I will have hip surgery this month.
Not sure how much I can accomplish for awhile;
but I will keep trying.  I will keep comments closed for now.
Until I feel I can be a better blogger.

A Big Goodie Box

My DIL stopped at a craft estate sale on Sunday and brought me
a large box of goodies.  I have been going through it slowly
and I am finding some great treasures.  The package of  1" paper piecing
papers are part of the contents along with the little squares of fabric.

This morning I went through those little squares and cut them into
the hexagons to hand sew together.  The original owner planned on
" paper piecing ".  I prefer to hand stitch the seams.

I will show more as I get some done.  Is there enough for a quilt?
No.  There are just bits and pieces.  I will enjoy taking her scraps
as they are and moving them along.
